Business Development Manager and Key Account Manager

Dan joined Aquila early in 2024 after a 26-year Royal Air Force career. This is his first role  in Business Development but he brings substantial knowledge of MOD people and processes.

Qualified and experienced as an Aeronautical Engineer, Dan worked in leadership positions at all levels of maintenance, specialising in weapons and fast-jet aircraft. He has experience working in roles covering front line command headquarters, MOD policy, Defence procurement as well as several and innovation roles. His international experience includes operations management across the Middle East, logistics, engineering and process optimisation for F35 in the US, and time in London supporting Defence Sales to Saudi Arabia. 

Outside of his work in Aquila, Dan is a volunteer as Co-Founder and Managing Director of UK Veterans Gaming CIC which connects and supports military veterans through online gaming.
